CAPTURING THE BEAUTY OF THE WORLD
One destinaton at a time
Joerg Daiber is a film maker based in Berlin.
With his production label spoonfilm, he creates award winning television documentaries, children’s television series and corporate films.
In 2009 he shot his first Little Big World video on a trip through Thailand. Unexpectedly, what started as a fun side project turned into a long term series which he has produced for more than a decade and continues to produce today.
Filming episodes for little Big World has brought Joerg all over the world from Pyongyang, North Korea to Khartoum, Sudan in Africa.
Joerg is focused on people doing everyday things in his films. “Miniaturizing the world with the tilt-shift effects somehow puts things into the right perspective,” he says. “People should not take themselves and what they do too seriously”.
Through the years Little Big World has screened in many festivals around the world. It was a finalist in the New York City Vimeo Awards for Best Series and has received 13 Vimeo Staff Picks.
