Georgia is a country in the Caucasus region of Eurasia. Located at the crossroads of Western Asia and Eastern Europe. It is bounded to the west by the Black Sea, to the north by Russia, to the south by Turkey and Armenia, and to the southeast by Azerbaijan. The capital and largest city is Tbilisi. In recent years Georgia has become a popular travel destinations among western Europeans in addition to the many Russians who visit Georgia every year. If you manage to avoid the most popular places it’s an amazing country to visit. We especially enjoyed weird places like Ciatura, a former old miner town with a run-down extensive cable car system. Also Batumi, which is sort of an East European version of Las Vegas at the Black Sea is a very strange but interesting place.
